Return Policy


All prices listed on our website are in AUD $.

If you change your mind for any reason, you are welcome to lodge a return request within 30 days from the date you placed your order. We offer the following return options:

  1. Store credit
  2. Exchange for any item from our online store of equal or lesser value

Please note: There are no store credits or exchanges available on sale items. ALL sale item purchases are final.

After receiving approval for your exchange or store credit, please package your suit securely and send it back to the provided address, along with your original receipt (proof of purchase).

Return policy guidelines:

Item/s being returned must be returned in original condition: new, unused, unwashed, free of deodorant stains, with tags and hygienic liners in place. Please take care when trying your items on as returns that do not abide by this policy will be returned at the sender’s expense.

Please return items with care and package them securely the same as you received them.

Please be sure to obtain a tracking number with your return to ensure proof of delivery.

ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALES AND NOT ELIGIBLE FOR STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

The customer pays for return shipping (except when receiving the wrong item, colour or size).


A note on returning your wetsuit:

If returning, please fold the wetsuit neatly with the zipper exposed, not touching any neoprene surface nor any other neoprene items if you are returning several wetsuits pieces.

Place it back in the packaging the same way it was delivered to you - the neoprene surface is delicate and subject to marking / creasing.

You do not need to include any thank you cards that were included in your original package, the hang tag is to be still attached but please ensure that any tags are laying flat to avoid marking the surface of the neoprene wetsuits.


Loss or damage:

We recommend using a tracking/registered postal service when returning your items as Basic Blue is unable to be held liable for loss or damage of your item/s being returned.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order or returning an order, as Basic Blue cannot be held liable for the loss of your item due to an incorrect or non-existent address being used.

Basic Blue is not responsible for damages that occur during shipment, or for locating lost or stolen packages once they have been delivered. This applies to both domestic and international orders.

If you would like to purchase additional services, such as signature confirmation or insurance, please include a note with your order and we will contact you via email to confirm availability & price.


Faulty items:

Goods are considered faulty if a manufacturing fault has occurred, all Basic Blue wetsuits undergo extensive quality control checks to ensure no goods are dispatched with a known fault. Basic Blue is not responsible for faults that occur due to misuse. Wetsuits damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty and will not be exchanged.

Please ensure you follow our care instructions, as items will not be exchanged if they have been wrongly damaged.
